“ This place was AMAZING!! My partner and I came to Durham for an overnight stay and show at DPAC, we stopped in Spring Rolls for dinner beforehand and landed on a hidden gem! When we first arrived there was one table sat and the hostserverbartenderowner came and sat us. He was so fun and energetic, he really made us feel so welcomed in a new city! The service was incredible, and the food was even better! The owner told us that they had opened the week that covid hit and after closing down for two years they had lost all their staff so it is just him and his sister. For a team of two the place was pristine, everything was delicious and the service was quick! We ordered 3 entrees spring rolls, potstickers and crab rangoon and an entree chicken lo mein as well as the mango sunrise cocktail all for 40 total! It was so much food we had to take the entree to go! I would highly recommend stopping in Spring Rolls for a bite, a drink, and a lovely conversation with two small local businesses owners. Durham, hit this place up! ”

“ I genuinely dont understand the one starts reviews ? I found none of this true. Maybe one off moments but none of them were an accurate representation. Literally check these before and after pics it was all just me. It was Astoundingly good. The food is genuine and feels like home cooking, feels like something youd have to travel to experience. It was nice to not just be a number but to have a convo with our server, the noise is call music its from the classy spirt bar next to them. Not only is that no in their control, but I enjoyed it, it was light and theres a range of seating if you want to hear more or less. I hope this more accurate and fair review, I wish I had a complaint to give but I just dont. ”

“ Four coworkers and I went by after a conference for dinner in a Tuesday evening. The restaurant is stylish, our host and waiter Eddie was engaging and amusing. We had drinks, appetizers and entres. The spring rolls and lettuce wraps were quite tasty and well prepared. I had the Tom Yum soup with chicken instead of tofu. It was spicy and flavorful. It reminded me of being back in Thailand. The Singapore noodles were perfectly cooked. The pork and shrimp in the noodles were quite flavorful. Everything is made fresh, but service was still quick enough. ”

“ Looking for a place on my list for dinner before our DPAC show, I saw Spring Rolls. I didnt see a way to make reservations and hoped it wouldnt be too busy early on a Saturday. Also, knew the parking should be easy. We walked in and got a table immediately. It was our first visit and they took their time telling us all about the restaurant, the food and being a family venture. The drink specials are every day and they have great specials. The food was devine. The sister is the head chef and her dishes were superb. We started with Wonton and Hot and Sour soup. Both were delicious. We had the Pad Thai and Kung Pao Prawns with brown rice for dinner. Nice size portions with good flavor. Great local run restaurant... go by and see them. ”
